When Kristan and Jason Norris’ greyhound Magnus was diagnosed with terminal cancer last month, they decide to make the most of his final days.

And so the Greenwood couple came up with a bucket list for the nine-year-old rescue dog.

“The type of cancer Magnus has is really aggressive – there are treatment options but no cure,” Mrs Norris said.

“We wanted to make him as comfortable as possible and also pack as much as we could into his life and make it very special.”

Magnus has starred in an advertising campaign about pet rescue, competed in a dog show, been part of a marriage proposal, ridden on a plane and visited a nursing home all as part of his bucket list.

Mrs Norris said she and her husband were inspired to create the list after seeing the story of Walnut the Whippet in Cornwall, who was joined by hundreds of dog lovers for his final walk after his owner put a shout out on social media. …read full story
