A generous donation was made by Rebecca Spaeth inspired by Riley’s Corner. “Riley lost her battle with Osteosarcoma on January 3, 2025. I have a corner in my store called Riley’s Corner that sells dog supplies and toys with a promise to donate 6% of proceeds to the National Canine Cancer Foundation in her memory.”

Melo was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2024 and passed away this past March 2025. He lived to be 10 years old. Melo was beyond caring, loving, and warm to anyone who encountered him. He was a big sweet potato. We spent nearly every day together for 8.5 years. I had been working on a children’s book titled, Move With Melo for a couple years and was able to publish it just after he passed. He did get to see a cover proof!”
