Jill is a cancer warrior who beat Mammary Cancer 5 times!! Her Mom Jeanne tells her inspirational story:
I rescued Jill from Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida in 2017 when she was 8 years old. She was diagnosed with mammary cancer when she was at the intake vet. The tumor was removed but came back 6 months later. That was the start of her 5 cancer surgeries. She was a therapy dog that visited libraries for kids to read to her. She went to church every Sunday with me where she was very well loved by the adults and children. Most Sundays after church she would go to the Punta Gorda airport to greet passengers and Allegiant Airlines flight crews. They all loved her. Then on February 6, 2023 she was diagnosed with her 6th tumor, this time it was inoperable. She would only live a few more days. That was the day she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She gave me the best 5 years of our lives. She is missed by so many people!
