We adopted at 4 months old as a cute playful puppy. Luca was diagnosed with lymphoma in December 2021. He was 11.5 years old at the time. Since this was the middle of the pandemic and the holidays, it was difficult to find an oncologist quickly. We found one in Brooklyn and drove every Saturday from Connecticut to Brooklyn for treatment for 6 months. He was such a good boy throughout this. He was always so loving to everyone, especially to his sister, Minxie. We lost him on 6/18/22. We will always miss him and his sweet face!
