Peanut was diagnosed with HSA and had an emergency splenectomy on Christmas Eve 2019. He fought such a hard battle, especially during Covid shutdown and passed away May 7th of 2020 at 13 years old. Peanut was a Aussiedoodle. Born on February 14th, 2007, he was my funny Valentine. Heart shaped spots included! He was more human than dog. He LOVED celebrating birthdays and dressing up. He was my dog son, the love of my life. We did everything together but he especially loved spending time with me in the garden. To carry on his memory I have started The Blue Peanut Garden. Every Spring we do a seedling sale and all profits go to NCCF. Our hope is to help others with awareness, prevention, care and support.
