Indy is a 5 year old Golden Retriever, living in Washington, DC. At 3 years old, he was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma and given a 6 to 9 month prognosis. Now, over 2 years later, he is thriving in remission thanks to CHOP chemotherapy and a successful allogenic bone marrow stem cell transplant (BMT) at NC State University Veterinary Hospital. Indy volunteers as a therapy dog for those in need, and did so throughout his cancer treatment. Since diagnosis, his Instagram account, @indy.on.insta, has been used to advocate for canine cancer awareness and treatments. Indy represents inspiration and hope in the fight against canine cancer!
