My precious Teddy, adopted from the humane society at 10 months old, was the best friend I could have ever imagined. Smart, funny, loving, athletic, a peacemaker and always up for the next adventure, he was perfection to me. If there is such a thing as a “heart dog”, Teddy was surely mine. Not long after we celebrated his 11th birthday he was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma and quietly said goodbye on June 26, 2023. He took a piece of my heart with him. I will forever be grateful for the decade I shared with Teddy and will miss the immense joy he brought to my life as long as I live.
