Nothing made Leia happier than food. In this beautiful photo from 2022, Leia was waiting patiently for a crumb to fall or a pizza crust to be shared. We lost her in August 2024 at 10.5 years old to soft tissue sarcoma. Leia was diagnosed in the fall of 2023 but her cancer was aggressive. She was a sweet and loving rescue who loved attention. She almost never barked, so she was a neighborhood favorite. Leia was a proud big sister to her human baby brother Luca. We miss her every day.
