Joetta Corbin | joettacorbin@yahoo.con | Megatron | he’s a 90 pound Doberman pincher he loves to play with my grandkids and anybody that will play with him. He likes to play his frisbee dog toy. He’s very protective over my grandkids. If you don’t know you you better not get too close to them because that’s the only time I’ve ever seen him get aggressive. | ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Stephanie Tovsen | stephanietovsen@gmail.com | Kodi | Where to begin. Kodi was a pembroke welsh corgi who was equal parts sass and love. He was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in 2022 after an emergency splenectomy. We opted for the chemo route and were given 6-9 months. We had 16 more months with him before we made the heartbreaking decision to let him go on 6/30/24. He has been through so much in his life: from impacted teeth (due to possible abuse before he came to us), alopecia X (he was losing hair on his chest), and then cancer. He fought until the very end, and I wish that had half of the strength and resilience that he had. He was more than a dog, he was my cuddle bug, my heart and my panda 🐼. He took a piece of my heart when he left this world, but he also showed me the true meaning of love. | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Heather McKeon | heathermariehope@gmail.com | Bolt | Thanks for reading💙 This is Bolt! A 3 year old Golden Retriever who was diagnosed with STS(small tissue sarcoma) cancer that presented itself on his hind leg (November 2023)as an open sore. 2 different surgeries were performed to remove, but because they weren’t sure of the margins got because of the location, he then underwent 19 days of radiation which ended on 2/14/24. By June it presented back in hind leg visibly. I took him to vet in June/24 and scans were perfect and they said xray was too. So they told us at this point we should proceed with a full amputation of his left leg. I was in shock but knew having him as a tripod was better than not having him. Well yesterday I dropped him off for the surgery, which was 55 minutes from my home and dropped him off. When I was 5 minutes from home the doctor called me and explained the last xray they took (5weeks ago) had a “questionable”spot on it and in their notes they said to repeat, which they did. Now that spot was very visable and a few more. They suggested if I wanted to do a CT, which they did and it showed 3-4 visable nodules in lungs. The surgeon told me it is considered metastatic cancer and that surgery was not possible or in his best interest. THEN I asked what the prognosis was and there was a long pause and she said maybe 3 months but I would need to wait till this Monday to speak with my oncologist that would be able to better analyze and see if chemo is worth it. Bolt is happy and in no pain. Does anyone have feedback, support, advise, prior knowledge? Would greatly appreciate it💔 | ![]() |
