Can you believe that this will be our EIGHTH annual dog walk?!

We are SO excited to be bringing back our in-person AND virtual dog walks this year!!!

Join us IN-PERSON at The Thompson Park Rotary Pavilion (Watertown, NY) on Saturday, October 14th from 10AM until 2PM! There will be pet photography, vendors, raffles, contests, and more! City Dawgz of NNY will be on-site to make sure you won’t go hungry!

Don’t forget to bring your dog’s favorite Halloween costume with you – we will be having our annual contest towards the beginning of the event!

If you live far away or otherwise cannot make our in-person event, we hope that you will join us VIRTUALLY anytime between Saturday, September 30th and Saturday, October 14th!

If you are joining virtually, please be sure to request an invitation to the private Facebook group #RunCancerRun2023 Virtual Dog Walk – Paws4Potter to stay up-to-date on all of the contests going on for the virtual participants!

2023 Chase Away 5K – Saturday, September 23, 2023

We’re kicking off Wag It Forward at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds!

Join us for our annual fun run to benefit Chase Away K9 Cancer! As always, your registration is a donation to Chase Away K9 Cancer. And 100% of the donations sent to Chase Away K9 Cancer will fund awareness and research for canine cancer.

Yes, we’re once again kicking off Wag It Forward at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds. And yes, we’re still offering a virtual option. And, most importantly, YES IT WILL BE FUN! No matter if you choose to run, walk, run/walk, or go virtual.

  • In-person run/walk: September 23, 2023 at the Champlain Valley Fairground
  • Virtual run/walk: You choose the date, time, and location!

The in-person portion begins at 9:00am, with check-in and same day registration opening at 8:00am.

Register by August 27 to purchase this year’s event tee and have your dog’s name included on the back. Race packets, bibs, and tees (if you purchase one) will be available to all registrants a few days before the event. We will email you when they are ready for pickup — or for shipping, if that’s the option you choose.

These funds raised help in the fight against Canine Cancer! We set out with a goal of $12,000, but your passion for pups left that in the dust.
