Canine Infusion Therapy comes from the simple revelation that cancer cells, unlike normal cells that use oxygen, rely other sources for energy. With our Canine Infusion Therapy, the cancer cells are weakened by removing those sources of energy. By timing the administration of our CIT treatment to when the cancer cells are starved for energy, the cancer cells are significantly impaired and small dosages of the CIT treatment can actually do more damage at these points in time when cancer cell defenses are down.

Our Core members are part of our team. Knowing that we have a monthly base of donations allows the NCCF to plan ahead in our commitments to new research grants. Our CORE members have a powerful impact on moving research from the lab to the dog patient.
Science is closer than ever to finding a cure for Canine Cancer. Hemangiosarcoma (HSA) is one of the cancers, that the NCCF has dedicated much of our research funds to find earlier screen methods, more effective treatments to extend the life of our sweet pups who have HSA. And ultimately finding a cure.
